Yale University International Scholarships

Yale University follows a need-blind admissions policy for all applicants, including international students, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. Through Yale University International Scholarships, it offers need-based financial aid tailored to each student’s financial situation, ensuring that all admitted students receive the support they need based solely on merit.

Around 63% of undergraduate students, including international students, benefit from these financial aid scholarships. For graduate students, scholarships must be sought directly from their chosen departments, as funding policies vary. Each department, rather than the university as a whole, determines the funding available to its students.
